I just got a 238 in the mail. The pointer is broken. I ordered a new one.
>From someone who has redone one, how much dissassembling of the front panel
is required to replace the pointer
and or restring the tuner? Or what is the proper way to replace the pointer?
I also own a 229b which is the same tuner in a slightly different box. Why
does the 238 weigh more? Are there any other notable differences that i
cannot see at a glance? Any improvements or mods? They appear to work the
same. All comments welcome. de ben k8dit
