You said that the 17 and 12 meter bands on your Omni-C were "operational."
You might check to see that the low pass filters are installed at the
output. I believe those filters may not have been factory installed, but I
am not sure about that.
The Omni-C produces spurious emissions when used on the 17 meter (18 MHz)
band. This is because 18 MHz is twice the 9 MHz IF frequency. If 17 meters
is important to you, I suggest you find a different rig.
