After using my Corsair II during Field Day, the PTO
began to act up. The previous owner had it rebuilt by
Ten-Tec only about 4 years ago.
I opened it up and found that the plactic thing-a-ma-bob
that connects/links the ferrite shaft to the "guide shaft" with
the spiral spring, had cracked. The spring puts pressure on
one end of this plastic linkage and that's where it cracked.
The overall lubrication seems fine.
Is this plastic linkage device included in the PTO parts kit?
Do thay include that brass "guide shaft" in the Kit? It
has a bit of wear on it.
I could, of course, ask Ten-Tec but I would like to know in
advance what to expect or what extras to order.
