Generally when strong signals are close by in frequency, the noise blanker is the worst possible enemy of rejection. E.g. it makes strong signals sound like they are tens of kHz wide. Turn OFF the noise blanker to try to clean up adjacent channel signals. 73, Jerry, K0CQ -- FAQ on WWW: http://www.contesting.com/tentecfaq.htm Submissions: tentec@contesting.com Administrative requests: tentec-REQUEST@contesting.com Problems: owner-tentec@contesting.com Search: http://www.contesting.com/km9p/search.htm |
