Usually, I would skip this - but - about 20 years ago I was working with a
Shimadzu spectrophotometer. It had a constant flow device so that you could
pump a liquid through it and measure the absorbtion in real time. The
instructions said -
1. Attach fluid input hose to port "A"
2. Attach sucktion hose to port "B" (yes, "sucktion')
3. Please adjust until equipment sucks.
