Good point , Steve. What else could we do with one of those?
Could they be cut down for 10 meters? With a tuner, I'm sure the
antenna could be made to work on 15, 12 and 10 meters without
modification. Add a base loading coil and it would go to 20 m.
As I recall, these were pretty high quality antennas. Wasn't the
loading coil vacuum sealed?
I am starting to hear some activity on 12 m, but not much. Let's
start a 12-12 net like the 10-10 organization.
