Subject: 580 delta / dem transverter woos

I have a ten tec 580 delta that i would like to try running on 144mhz. =
via a down east microwave transverter. the problem is i haven't been =
able to get much info on the dem product. I was wondering if anyone has =
had any prior tinkering with a settup that is close to the one proposed. =
what i do know is that my rig doesn't have a transverter output. is =
there hope in this case? I really have my heart set on the dem unit, =
does this mean i will have to buy another rig?; Or can i still run the =
dem unit with my 580 delta , by making a coax jumper of some type and =
running the delta with drive at very low level.Does anyone think my =
efforts are in vain? ALL INFO WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED! tnx. and 73 =
all de KG4BMH Jason Wilborn .
