Just used the Heil Micro Pro Set with HC-5 and a new Omni VI+ in the
ARRL SSB Sweepstakes. Had no problem with mic gain or the VOX. It
worked beautifully.
However, with an earlier Omni VI, I experienced some difficulties
like those described in this thread, especially with the VOX.
