I haven't received my Pegasus yet, but have looked at the GUI to some degree
and a couple of the observations in the "First Look" don't agree with what I
have experienced.
1. He states: "One thing the Pegasus (and its sibling RX-320) does not
let you do is to highlight the displayed frequency and type in a new one"
I can highlight the display and type in a new one......in
fact I can type in a new frequency without highlighting the display.
2. He states: "... For this reason, I enjoyed having the "pod" at hand and
took maximum advantage of it. I especially enjoyed the "F" keys that shunted
control over common functions like RIT and passband tuning to the big knob."
I don't see any options in the "Settings", "Remote Pod" ,
window to accomplish what he is saying he did with the RIT and
Passband tuning features?
Maybe I am missing something???? I do agree with his statement about the
readout and the number of displayed digits. Maybe another decimal point
between the 1 khz and 100hz digits would help this situation.
just my thoughts.....
