I don't have a Pegasus (yet), but it seems one of the benefits would be the
ability to run the radio remotely using a network setup. The desktop GUI
information could easily be transfered over a nework using a software
package such as Norton's pcANYWHERE, or even Microsoft's net meeting. Even a
28.8 modem would be fast enough for that purpose. The question is how to get
the audio transfered. Has anyone experimented with using a sound card to
transfer Pegasus audio data over a network in real time, and if so, what
software did you use ?
It would be quite fun to check into the local 40 meter noon-time net from my
PC at work.
Remote PSK-31 operation should be fairly simple to implement as well.
