As I understand it, the Pegasus has a built in speaker with no audio
interface to the PC. Your link to the pc is via a serial cable. I'm
not sure what you mean by "option board" either. Recording audio would
present the user with the same wiring requirements as a normal rig
would ie feeding low-level audio into the sound card and using a sound
program.
