Here is the email correspondence I had with Ten-Tec about getting info about
a possible "mars mod" for the Pagasus. Seems like it's stacked against a
honest operator....oh well

MARS operation requires a special EEPROM only available from us, and
it can't be released unless we have a copy of your MARS license.

I'm very sorry to hear that Scott. I've used jap rigs to drive Ten-Tec's
transverters for years. Unfortunately all I have now is a Omni-6 plus..which
as you know can't go above 50.350 with the 1208. Tell me...do you require
proof of a ham license to buy a Ten-Tec rig..?? I bet not...double
standard..???
