[TenTec] Wanted - AGC Mod for Omni D Series B

Hi All,
Back in the 1980's, Ham Radio Magazine published a mod to
improve the AGC characteristics; fast attack, slow release as I recall.
Does anyone have the details of the mod or a copy of the article.  Will
gladly
reimburse costs.  I can't remember the month/year of the issue.  Thanks
