To expand on my earlier question (in response to some comments =
received), I tried to ask the question in a general way so as to allow =
Pegasus users to share whatever experience they may have had.
My present non-contest logging program DX4Win is controlling my Omni =
VI+ as well as my TNC, and is capable of controlling a paddle or sending =
RTTY. Similarly my contest program TR-Log controls the radio and TNC. =
I presume that if I had Pegasus also on the computer I would have to =
manually transfer data from DX 4 Win to Pegasus and back--or do they =
somehow link up? And what about all those windows on the screen? Will =
I be flipping from one to another? Or do I need two computers, one to =
run Pegasus, and the other to log manually on DX4Win without a computer =
connection to Pegasus?
Well, what experience have Pegasus users had so far?
Thanks to all those who have and will reply

Subject: [TenTec] Logging with Pegasus
Hi folks--
Since the advent of the Pegasus, I don't believe anyone has =
discussed computer logging and Pegasus control simultaneously on one =
computer.
Would someone care to share his experience? Of concern are:=20
1. Name of Logging Program
2. Number of Serial Ports needed to control Pegasus, TNC, Paddle, =
etc.
3. Windowing Pegasus and logger windows. Do you need two computers =
to handle all the windows?
4. Good points and bad vs. a "normal" radio.
Thanks and 73
