I am guilty of putting out bad information on this reflector. I apologize.
Joe, AA4NN, asked me about 160M. I did not remember and went to the manual
(which is what I should have done FIRST).
The 253 Automatic Antenna Tuner does, indeed, carry a 2 KW maximum rating.
The single, LONG WIRE ratting is 1500W.
I again apologize and especially to the guy who advertised his 253 as
available.
I LOVE my 253. And it runs merrily along with the new Hercules II. Never had
a problem with it with the Titan I used to own, either. Which is more than I
can say about the Titan itself.
