[TenTec] Omni VI plus - noise

Is it well above the normal 3 KHz upper voice band?  If so, perhaps a choice
of coupling cap to audio stages would roll it off?

Seems that someone mentioned doing this to a TT model with improvement to his
audio sound.  Any one else remember when this came up on the list some year or
more ago?
