Just a few lines on the RX-320 Receiver.I received mine about
one year ago.It is a great receiver for the money , if you don't
mind virtual radios. It is as good as any general coverage radio
I have ever had , in that price range. The only thing I don't
like about it is the computer generated noise I hear when I use
the small whip that is supplied from Ten-Tec , so much noise
that it is useless to try to hear anything with it.I know this
could be that my computer/monitor is not shielded very well.
With an outside antenna it is a great little radio. One of the
best assets of this type of radio is the ability to be upgraded
easily , by new software . Also I have had no problems with my
RX-320 in one year of use.
Judging from the performance of my RX-320 I think the Pegasus
will be a success.I think the price will appeal to a lot of Hams
and that Ten-Tec will sell a lot of these units to people that
would not normally consider Ten-Tec for a radio. However I like
my Omni-V receive better than my RX-320. I will try the Pegasus.
How can you not?
