This is quite a group of folks.
I received over 30 very nice messages of congratulations responding to my
message about passing my 1A test. Too many to respond to all of you
separately.
The unanimous consensus is that QSO'ing is the best way to advance. Many of
you said my message reminded you of how excited you were when you passed
your 1A. I've been a HAM all of two months and I must say I'm really proud
and pleased to be a member of Amateur Radio and this group in particular.
Thanks again for all the very kind words. I hope to one day meet many of you
on a CW QSO (but first Ten-Tec has to get to work on my radio. Called today
and I guess they're still taking about three weeks from when they receive
it, add a week each way for shipping and we're talking serious Ten-Tec
withdrawls! :) )
Sincere 73's to all...
