[TenTec] Omni-6+ Transmit Indication?

I just got an Omni-6+ and noticed that the only indication you have that
you're transmitting is the ALC light near the RF power control.

The Ghiel chip for the Paragon had a nice feature -- it displayed a  *
when you were transmitting.

Is there any way to get that sort of indicator for the Omni-6+?
