I have an elderly friend who has chosen to retire from
HF operation and she will be liquidating her Omni C Series
C station.
One of the pieces is a model 299 talking frequency counter.
A switch on the back suggest that it is also usable with a
Triton. She has no manual for it so details are sketchy.
The unit is in decent physical condition. It works quite well
but we have no idea on it's current value.
They were $299 new. TT informs me that the microprocessor is
no longer available so if that part were to fail the unit
becomes unrepairable. I'd appreciate any comments or opinions
on what price this piece should fetch.
