You plan to put the 2.8 KHz filter in the "option"
slot? If you want the (possible) improvement in your
CW note, this 2.8 KHz filter goes in place of the model
220, the main filter, where there is no gain adjustment.
Other than that, if you actually want this in as a
pure "receive" optional filter, then certainly choose
the low gain side of the switch. This is a low loss
filter and needs no help.
