I don't hear much splatter from overdrive on rtty, But -
those using PACTOR/AMTOR with non qsk amps
are a real sorry lot. Maybe I am at the right distance
from the U.S. to hear this stuff that most don't, but
whenever I'm in the cw band and hear a rythmic clacking
across the spectrum, I can invariably find the culprit
up above using those modes. And being new to the
so-called "Digital Modes" is not the problem. A lot are
guys with many years of experience.
(This is a leap from the subject, but I needed to have
my feelings validated! Sharing is the latest fad, isn't it?)
