A couple of people replied to my request for Tentec 9MHz 4-pole 2.7KHz
BW and model 219 filters saying that they had filters which were
marked poorly and they couldn't identify. The following table
(information obtained from Ten-Tec) lists the stock codes which may
appear on the various 9MHz filters that they use.
Model Center f(MHz) BW(Hz) Z(in/out) #Poles Stock Code
216 9.002210 500 200 6 48161
217 9.000750 500 200 8 48036
218 9.001500 1800 200 8 48037
219 9.000750 250 200 6 48055
220 9.001500 2400 200 8 48058
- 9.001500 2700 200 4 48057
Number of poles equals number of crystals on the filter board.
Note that the 4-pole has no model number because it wasn't sold as an
accessory filter. This filter was stock in the Argosy tranceivers on
the RF/MIXER board and in the Corsair tranceivers on the NOISE BLANKER
board. It does have a stock code which should be stamped on one of
the crystals or perhaps on the PC board. All of the ones I have
purchased to date (3) have this number stamped on a crystal along with
a date code (i.e. year and week: 8217).
My accessory filters (5) all have the model number and a date code
stamped on them, except for the latest 217 (1997) which also has the
stock code.
This information should enable you to ID those mystery filters that
are laying around the shack!
