[TenTec] Titan Question

I have the opportunity to buy a low S/N (400's)Titan. It is my understanding
that these early units had a number of modifications needed. If this is true,
how can I tell if these have been made? Is it feasible to return the unit to
TenTec for upgrade and if so about how much should it cost?
