Keep in mind that the local oscillator is a crystal type. The band
crystals are probably in the range of 5-10 ppm tolerance, and they've also
been around for a few years. This will make band-to-band comparisons of
dial accuracy nonusable.
What you should check is to see if the dial calibration on a single
band remains within 5 kHz after setting at the nearest 100 kHz point.
Typically, the finest amateur-grade VFO/PTO circuits don't get much better
than that.
