Bill,
I never turn my power supply off. (It is a marine battery.) My Omni VI
has never done what you describe, so I suggest you try yours on a
battery to see if the trouble is in the rig or the power supply.
Whichever it is, call Ten Tec Service and they will probably get you
fixed up in short order.
