Originally posted on QRP-L, an abridged version of my for sale list
with just the Ten Tec stuff:
Well, if Field Day taught me anything this year, it's that I need
to spend more time operating and less time collecting.
I've done some pricing research, but if you think the prices are
way out of line, let me know. I've said "best offer over" not to
instigate an auction, but to give those folks (especially the
digest readers) who would really like one of these rigs an
opportunity to go after it. I may also pick names out of the hat if
need be (I could also be way too optimistic here :-). Please, no
'trades'; I'm looking to lessen the amount of equipment. Enough
said.
1. Ten Tec Argonaut 509. Excellent physical condition, with extra
side panel (original owner had put a mike jack in a side panel,
I will include a spare panel to put the rig back to 'stock';
jack is gone, hole is left). With manuals, we split shipping,
offers over $275.
2. Ten Tec Argosy 525 with digital display and RF gain mods, S#23.
This rig shows its years, but is fully functional and has _all_
filters. The casing has a substantial number of small nicks and
dings, but silk screen is intact; I have a replacement bottom
panel from Ten Tec that I will include, the top is no longer
available and needs to be re-painted. With manuals, we split
shipping, offers over $450.
3. TenTec Century 21, with blown finals. I just haven't had a chance
to fix this one. Are you an Elmer to a new novice, and willing to
put a little work in this rig? Let's talk; I'm willing to make a
good deal on this for the right cause...
whew... I feel lighter already. :-)
. . . . . . - I own my own words - . . . . . .
