Hi there folks ..
I have a 12 year old model 580 delta which has suddenly stopped displaying the
frequency. I have attempted to track the signal from the PTO to the display
board and have replaced a couple of suspect devices - the first amp on the PCB
a 2N3904 equivalent and the dual gate FET mixer which combines the PTO and BFO
signals. Despite this the display stubbornly refuses to show the frequency of
the radio. It does display a fixed frequency - which depends on the band eg
5.0000 MHz for 80 meters, etc ...
Has anyone else faced this roblem ... and what am I missing??
