Well, after all else failed to help, I wired the cord for a Shure 444
dynamic mike, and the problem went away.
This got me thinking that the problem must have been RF into the electret
condenser mike element, which now posed the question, "Why didn't the
fuzz change when I went to the antlers at the other end of the lot???"
Then I pulled the plug on the KB2YTW/B 10 Meter beacon, and tried the
hand mike again. NO FUZZ !!!, It was RF, but not from the Argo.
So, until the new site is ready for the beacon, I will use the Shure mike
in the house, and the Ten Tec mike in the car.
Next question: Not being able to put ANY holes in the car (company car),
how would you run your Argo in the mobile???
