My favorite wish is for Ten Tec to offer an optional (probably external?)
VFO so that I could operate split and listen on BOTH the xmit and
rcv frequencies at the same time!
I do this all of the time on my old Omni D with external VFO when
trying to work DX, and I think it saves me a lot of time in the
pile-ups. I really miss the capability on the Omni V and VI, in fact
that seems to be the biggest drawback to the newer rigs in my opinion.
