What you ought to do is take that nice 3 x 811 amp you have, put in 572Bs
instead, add full break-in keying (if it doesn't already have it), add a
hypersil transformer for the extra current, increase the airflow a good bit
(somehow), and increase the spacing on that plate tuning capacitor. Great
package size with nearly full legal power out. I had a 30L1 w/572Bs in it
with which I ran about the normal 811 power-it still seemed to have greater
SSB punch, and COULD really kick butt on CW. (OK, two extra fans extracting
on top.) It's sure be a great LITTLE amp!!! (Even add a sturdy handle on
the side!) Just wanted to get my QRO 2cents in.
