The simple fact is; 90% of the people I qso on cw who are using Scouts
will, during the course of the qso, suddenly jump frequency by about 50
hz. It does not have to be 55wpm! A normal qso at 35wpm will cause this.
It does not require a long winded qso. I can't relate to "pausing for the
processor to catch up." That is not practical. Usually I can recognize a
Scout by it's frequency jump.
Lets admit a shortcoming and not blindly defend a radio just because it's
made by our favorite company.
