Many thanks to JE1CKA, W9WI and W9CF who all sent
me code to try. I was successful with all three
methods. You guys saved me some valuable time,
because I am NOT a programmer. Thanks also to Rich
VE3IAY who sent a detailed procedure using Excel.
I'm glad to have been able to salvage a decade's worth
of my TR-Log contest data for use with N1MM Logger. In
my opinion, the master DTA and exchange databases are of
questionable value, perhaps both operationally and ethically.
But then I am reminded of N9RV telling us to use every legal
advantage that we perceive, real or imagined, because our
competition surely is doing so.
I never rely solely on MASTER.DTA or exchange databases, and
I only log it if I hear it. They save some typing, at best.
I do like learning operator's names, regardless of the contest.
Thanks again for the help guys!
