Dear TR-log users,
As you already know, TR-log software is covering the YO DX HF Contest.
Since the contest will be this week-end (26/27 August, from 12:00 UTC to
12:00 UTC), I have the following remarks.
1. Scoring
The QSO points is not updated, so the final score will not be correct.
Although re-scoring will be performed by the YO log checkers, if you want to
calculate the score, here are the correct points:
- QSO with a YO station - 8 p
- QSO with a non-YO station, outside own continent - 4 p
- QSO with a non-YO station inside own continent - 2 p
- QSO with a station inside own country - 1 p.
2. Romania.dom file
The last versions of TR-log contain an improper Romania.dom file, with full
name of county (instead of 2 letters abbreviation). This will lead to a log
format difficult to be processed by the log checkers.
Please use a simple format of the Romania.dom file, just with the 2 letters
abbreviations, as follows:
Ab = AB
Ag = AG
Ar = AR
Bc = BC
Bh = BH
Bn = BN
Br = BR
Bt = BT
Bu = BU
Bv = BV
Bz = BZ
Cl = CL
Cj = CJ
Cs = CS
Ct = CT
Cv = CV
Db = DB
Dj = DJ
Gj = GJ
Gl = GL
Gr = GR
Hd = HD
Hr = HR
If = IF
Il = IL
Is = IS
Mh = MH
Mm = MM
Ms = MS
Nt = NT
Ot = OT

Tr = TR
Vl = VL
Vn = VN
Vs = VS
(copy and paste the above list into your Romania.dom file)
3. Cabrillo format
YO DX Contest is not supported by the Cabrillo format, but like in many other
cases, you just have to fool the program. Please replace YO DX in logcfg.dat
with CQ WPX and you can generate a decent Cabrillo log.
