Brian,

This is a operating system issue. Probably a laptop?

You must prevent the PC from sleeping. Some BIOS do not allow proper
communications between the RTC (real time clock) and the DOS window, I
guess. My solution is to shut the thing off and reboot the next morning. Or,
simply disable all sleep mode switches and let it burn away all night.
