I agree completely, Tony. A platform-independent version would help for
sure. My first ideas pointed to Linux version, also discovered the TLF by
PA0RCT. It contains a lot of good things but isn't comparable to TR. It
seems that a Windows version is a dead end (there are several attempts to
make something similar to TR running under Win). Perl, Java? Yes, finally a
good solution, however I would expect that the CW keying, PTT and radio
control would stay the same as in the DOS version, the networking capability
would be improved (with the usual LAN card?).
