In my June VHF contest log, there was a dupe that was missed by the
program. It was W7LHL who I worked at home on 2 meters in CN85, followed
by W7LHL/R in the same grid.
TR and POST didn't consider this to be a dupe.
I can understand how this probably happened and obviously it wasn't a case
I thought about when programming it.
I don't consider this to be a big deal. When you submit a log using
Cabrillo, you don't flag dupes. However, if you look at your published
score, you might find one less QSO due to it.
There are no penalties for dupes in electronic logs - so no worries there.
I just wanted people to be aware of it. Unless Ron runs out of more
significant things to work on, I wouldn't expect this to be fixed.
