You need a way to enable the PCMCIA slots in DOS. It will generally be
recognized by windows automatically. There is usually a DOS "card director"
program available from the PC manufacturer. I downloaded mine from IBM at
http://www.pc.ibm.com/support. Go to "Notebooks and PC Companions" and then
drill down to the right family. The "driver matrix" lists all the latest
drivers for the model ThinkPad (or whatever) you choose.
