I'll be glad to assist.
My 756's (Pro and straight) do a few screwy things when sent certain =
commands by TR, and a slower baud rate does not make a difference.
The split mode does not work correctly, TR changes the wrong freq =
without some manual pre-intervention. (Ten-Tecs, at least the Omni VI's =
have a similar affliction)=20
Also, TR switches the radio to a different filter ("narrow" on the =
straight 756, Filter 2 on the 'Pro) when jumping to a new frequency by =
typing the freq in the call window. On the 'Pro, I've changed my wide =
filter to the filter 2 position to get around this. A workable, but not =
really desirable when bleary eyed and tired.
There are some other things that don't work (shift keys changing freq =
for one) but I don't use them so I don't remember what else does not =
work as advertised.
Chuck, KE4OAR
