Ben:
RENAME your ORIGINAL log to something.ORG, thus getting it OUT of the path
of the NEW log to be created. Otherwise, and as you have now realized, READ
will merely ADD the data to the old log. This is also how you MERGE
multiple logs together, but you then DON'T rename the original log 'cause
you WANT the READ log entries ADDED.
By the way, before you undertake such an effort it is ALWAYS SAFEST to make
a backup copy of any of your critical data on a diskette (or in another
folder/subdirectory) so that if you screw up, you can merely COPY the
backup back to your working folder and continue from scratch.

Hello -
I used TR for the Salmon run and discovered that it did the mults
wrong, so I am trying to do the "read" feature, but can not seem to get it
right. My file name is SR01.dat and I typed in "TR READ SR01.dat" and
everything pops up, and it starts redoing the contest, except it is just
adding on to all of the previous qsos that are in the original log. How
can I have the contest rework from the begining, so it doesn't rework right
ontop of the old qso's?
Thanks,
