I forget the details but there are some technical reasons
why Tree has not added this support - He has looked it several times.

I hope that you have not given up on two radios just because you
do not see a way to interface the radios. The advantage of two
radios in a contest does not require that both or even either
radio have it's computer interface connected to the computer.
I think you said you have a Ten-Tec of some kind - I would
use this as the main run radio and use one of your 706 radios
as the second radio. I would not get locked into making
one of the radio a second class rig - I would use whatever one
will work on the band I am on - either running or in S&P mode.
If you start to have trouble copying signals on one radio
and you know the other one will handle the condtions better
then you might swap their bands.
The bottom line is - try the two radios - dont wait for
the setup to be "perfect" before you start listening to
two radios at once.
If your laptop has a pcmcia slot (often used for modems - the
size of a credit card) then you have several choices
of addon serial ports that plug into this slot.
