NO NO NO , Windows ME is NOT in ANY manner shape or form a version of NT.
This confusion comes from WINDOWS 2000 (NOT ME) which IS based on the NT
Kernel. A TOTALLY different thing.
Windows ME is STILL based on DOS, DOS is just hidden. See my previous post
about a patch that can bring it back to light.
