Jeff,
I had a similar problem with a homebrew interface while operating
portable/mobile. It was RF getting into the interface cabling while TR was
polling the rig. Solved with capacitors (0.01uF).

Subject: [TRLog] Icom problems
Hi All
does anybody else have problems with frequency display stability in TR when
using an Icom rig?
The display is fine in LOG-EQF "sorry about the slip of tongue" but in TR
whilst the rig is set to say 14.275 MZ the display will sometimes indicate
145.2MZ Seems a bit strange to me.
otherwise it seems fine.
Any comments?
