Maybe - there are several ways to work a dupe.

If you dont mind sending some stuff by hand or using the function keys.

I usually do it this way:

In the CQ mode - enter the callsign.
Hit TAB to move to the exchange field.
Enter the exchange then log the QSO normally.

You could also enter a broken call or partital 
call int he call window and hit enter - then go
and correct the callsign and log the QSO.
