Hi Floyd,
Try to erase bandmap.bin restart.bin and start the program again.
I am, from time to time, experiencing spots just stopping to appear on the
band map and the cure is to restart the software. Have you tried connecting
to your DXC with the different software, say, Telix etc and get the spots
coming and beeping? If "yes" you're on a right track. By the way, what kind
of software does your DXC use?
In my case TR-log worked fine with OH7LZB's Clusse, F5MZN's DxNet (both DOS
and Linux versions) and recently CLX 5.03.
Another thought - are you sure MFJ needs EIGHT BIT PACKET PORT = TRUE ???
I tried several TNC's and the only ones that definitely needed this were
KPC3 and KPC9612.
