Back a couple of years ago I noted that if you programmed a
function key for SWAPRADIOS when running SO2R, that if you hit
that particular function key while transmitting, TRLog would
throw the target radio into key-down transmit. After later
experimentation, I finally figured out that the way to unkey
the transmitter was to press the SWAPRADIOS function key again.
Lo and behold, when I hooked up everything for NAQP yesterday
and was testing all the computer functions on my non-Y2K laptop
I discovered that this problem apparently no longer exists
with newer versions of the software.
I can hold the "dit" paddle down and flip back and forth between
rigs and it will, umm, flip back and forth between rigs while
transmitting. Which is exactly what I needed. No more panic
attack key-down 1500 watts for the Sprint!
