Version 1040? Is that a tax return?
Try this:
TR NEW
tell it your call
pick the CAL QSO PARTY
and answer that you are in california.
Then say no to most everything else.
When you get to the logging screen - type in a call like N6TR.
Enter #1 space and SBAR and hit RETURN.
It should log 1 SBer and count the Ca as the multiplier.
Is this not what it does for you?
