Hi all,
after quite some experimenting this might be working for the REF contest:
REF.CFG-------------------------------------------------------
MY CALL ...
DISPLAY MODE ...
CONTEST = CQ M
for the qso numbers in messages
CONTEST NAME = REF CHAMPIONAT DE FRANCE
QSO POINT METHOD = ARI
my continent 1, DX 3
note: you can only work French or French DX stations,
so you won't have that received-qso-number-problem
;MY COUNTRY = OE
!ONLY! for DLs to get correct points for DA1 (FFA)
EXCHANGE RECEIVED = RST ZONE OR SOCIETY
ZONE MULTIPLIER = BRANCH ZONES
enter 01 to 90 for the departements
(will be stored in exchange memory),
00 for F6REF
ADD DOMESTIC COUNTRY = F
ADD DOMESTIC COUNTRY = TK
ADD DOMESTIC COUNTRY = DL
DOMESTIC MULTIPLIER = DOMESTIC FILE
DOMESTIC FILENAME = REF.DOM
if you get dept. 2A and 2B from Corsica (check with the rules!),
enter this as TK2A and TK2B,
enter prefix for French DX,
FFA for DA1 stations
DX MULTIPLIER = NONE
MULT BY BAND = TRUE
MULTIPLE MODES = FALSE
separate contests per mode
INITIAL EXCHANGE = QTH
if you have dept's in there
Anybody got a better idea?
and so on...--------------------------------------------------
REF.DOM-------------------------------------------------------
Not sure - check with the rules!
fFA = FFA
tk2A = TK2A
tk2B = TK2B
tK = TK
fG = FG
fH = FH
fK = FK
fM = FM
fO = FO
fP = FP
fR = FR
fS = FS
fT = FT
fW = FW
fY = FY
EOF REF.DOM---------------------------------------------------
Did not yet get to the UBA contest with its thousands of multipliers, but
for that we still have another week.
73,
Udo

I'm sure this is trivial, but I've never bothered with using TR in these
smaller contests before. So does anyone know how the config file should be
set up properly for the REF and UBA contests?
