I have a new machine for my ham stuff that has only Win 98. To those of
you that have successfully run TRLog in Win98, or in a DOS window, or by
dropping or booting to DOS, could you give me some inputs on how to get
TRLog to run?
If TRLog "can" run via a shortcut on my desktop, I'd like to do that
best.
What are some of the issues you had to deal with to get things to work?
Locked up com ports?
I'm running it on a 486-66 with 20 Meg ram.
Where I'm clueless is how to give/get Win98 an autoexec.bat and
config.sys. Is there a way to edit those files for Win98 to see?
Anymore clues on how to "boot" to DOS with Win98 as opposed to "shutdown
to DOS"? I understand that I'll need to change the path command when I
get to the autoexec.bat. That should be no problem.
I look forward to the assistance--Thanks!
