Well - here is how I saw it:
1. If you are in CQ mode going to S&P mode, nothing should get cleared
out. This would be the same as pressing the TAB key.
2. If you are in S&P mode going to CQ mode, everything should get
cleared out (under the assumption that you are also calling CQ).
3. The implementation of the above is simple (and in fact is already
done and tested). The implementation of a RESCUE command would
be more difficult (read: not done and tested).
4. This concept can be refined after people have had a chance to
play with it.
